Let us join hands and send forth a wish to the collective consciousness of the Being Human Universe that is overseen by the upbiquitous one known as 'the BBC' and ... make is so!
Or......do we?.... doooooo we?!!? do we really want to see what is behind the curtain, or do we want to be swept away in a sustained heady atmosphere, in permanent denial that Being Human is fiction?! these are important questions my friends!
LOL!!!! Oh dear....My apologies Lady Eileen! I had clearly had too much kia-ora yesterday! and was clearly in danger of disappearing up my own, well you know what I mean. I do get passionate about things sometimes and start talking nonsense. the Wizard Of Oz is one fo my fave films, so behind the curtain ..well you know what that means.
But does anyone else get that conflict sometimes, I both love to see behind the scenes stuff and the actors insights, and at the same time I just want to stay in the world of the Being Human fiction and not break the illusion. Though when characters you invest in and come to love leave, it really helps to see behind the scenes and interviews with the actor then really helps heal that heart ache of losing them somehow? what do you guys think?
The behind the scenes vids for series 4 were cool! On balance, I completely agree with you oddoneout, it would be hilarious to see some outtakes!
In a recent interview with Kate Bracken / Alex she mentioned that Damien stayed in character even when the camera was off him, so that would be fab to see, but I bet there was lots of joking around on set !
they def need to do bloopers! I want more Hal singing, the guys cracking up to Kirby dancing and hey maybe even a wee bit of Damien doing the Kirby dance hehe

Good Lord i would give almost anything for out takes/bloopers from series one onwards. We've been really spoiled regarding extras both via the Blog and on DVD but i would adore out takes. I love them on DVDs.
UJ - the idea of commentaries appeals hugely too, you mean a dvd commentary over the top of live play? I guess that may be trickier with a series than with film. but maybe a different commentator for each episode? In the mean time, we do have the interviews Damien (and others!) did for the series 4 dvd extras. which gave a real insight into Hal (and the series!) for anyone who missed that >>> http://damienmolony.activeboard.com/t48827849/being-human-series-4-dvd-blu-ray-damien-molony-interview/
Other tv shows do commentaries so I don't see why there'd be a problem. Unless no one involved with the show fancies doing them. It's become such a norm I'm surprised when commentaries aren't there.
