LOL! Well ok then here we go.....

On thursday i arrived and on my way through newport i found the pink BH signs that i had heard so much about! I followed them and found a lovely man who happily told me they would be filming the next day!

On friday we all drove over to the location. As we arrived becca and a couple of others were taking a pic of the pink sign. I looked to my left and noticed a nice car so was having a sneaky look at it as it drove by. Then as i was looking i noticed someone was waving wildly at me! I glanced in and saw it was damien! I could see the sideburns and tweed suit which gave it away! No one believed me lol!

We went into the grounds and found some BH filming. We saw kate and stuff then just walked around for a while. Becca and i tweeted ryan or @tmxghost off twitter (3rd AD on BH) He came out to see us and said we could be in a scene. We hung around some more, filmed then left very wet (from rain) but extremely happy! Oh yeh and damien tweeted while we were in the tea shop confirming that it was in fact him in the car waving :)

On saturday we went sight seeing all the BH sights which was awesome!

On sunday morning i left and whilst driving back i stopped at some traffic lights an who pulls up in the car next to me? DAMIEN! He was in deep conversation with the driver and was being very animated with his hands :) It was lovely to see him right before i left even if i never managed to speak to him!

So i think thats it! We had a marvellous weekend and everyone was lovely :) Sorry for rattling on ;) lol x

Adding more detail to the #BHfieldtrip.

As eagle eyed Su had spotted the BH Location signs & given a security guard the spanish inquisition on Thursday night we headed out is an optimistic mood on Friday morning.

Su had been told the filming started at 8am but that was a little early for us, and we didn't want to appear too eager, so we headed for breakfast at the Cafe on the Corner first - hygiene not quite Hal standards.

Once we arrived at Tredegar House I busily took a picture of the location sign & tweeted to let you all know we had found them. At this point I was vaguely aware of a car heading towards me & neatly side stepped it. Su then screamed "Oh my God that was Damien, he waved at us" or words to that affect. The car then sped away to the trailer area.

I then tweeted Damien, & I believe Su did too, to ask if that was him who had just passed us. A short while later he duly obliged by tweeting that he had seen the bloggers.

When we shot our scene later in the day - did we tell you were only IN IT! - Ryan told us that Damien had had an early shoot that day & it was a shame we'd missed him.
Moral of the story - don't go for breakfast & do appear eager. Had we gotten there earlier we might have had more than a wave from a speeding car.

The rest of the weekend went much as Su described with lots of BH sights taken in (Honolulu Heights, Cutler Nick Cutlers Office, The Museum & its steps, Johns Cafe, Barry Police Station where we got questioned & the Trading Post) and much good food & alcohol consumed in brilliant company.

I think however that our presence might have scared Damien out of the country as Saturdays tweets told us clearly that he was in London. Are we that bad? lol x

Becca and Su, thanks for sharing your experiences. I was also living vicariously through them having been in Cardiff only a week or so prior to your visit. I know some of the BH Bloggers also visited Bristol and the Pink House too. One day i'll make a meet like this one, family committments and a husband who works shifts prevents me at the moment unfortunately.

Oh my goodness! That sounds like one "Hal" of a trip lol ! It so cool that y'all are going to be in it!! It also super awesome that he recognized yall enough to wave! I wish I could have tagged along! Hopefully next time there's a BHfeild trip!!

Cheers for your account Becca! It is all exciting, must have been thrilling seeing all those locations we have all seen brought to life in Being Human!I know you guys are sad that you didn't see Damien this time, but from over here it still looked like an epic time.

really do not want any spoilers but my mind has been working over time in a fan fic kind of a way with the location and costume!

We did have a brilliant time despite not getting to speak to damien this time :) I can honestly say that the bloggers/ tweeters/ forumers are like a little family and i genuinly love you all! Your like my little escape when real life gets a bit tough or i just need a break smile I actually think that damien and being human is just a basis that has brought together a group of people with similar interests and good hearts

The episode which our 'acting' should be shown in is episode 3 so when that episode airs we will all be on the edge of our seats! I hope i get to meet up with everyone again soon and all the others i didnt meet this time! Hopefully damien will do a play or something so we can go meet him again lust haha xx

Iv always seen my fanbases as like a family >:) And i love ya all ;D !! .... When Damien does a play again. I plan to beg my mum and become a right little goodie two shoes for her xD untill she takes me to see it >:) Then hopefully i will meet some of the bloggers ;D !! And you su >:) And of course DAMIEN :D !! I /ALMOST/ Went to travelling light (2nd of june) Because my birthday was the 4th. And mum said it would be a good pressie. But stuff came up and we coudent :( Xx

We have much to be grateful to Damien for, connecting with fans from all over the world here and on twitter for me is nothing short of amazing, and it is the same for me Su..escape and joyful distraction from stuff.

Right now it feels a million miles away that the day will come that I will meet you all in real life, but it is one of my recovery goals that I will, one day! in the meantime I am gratfeul for the connection we do have ! grouphug

How do I put this.... there may or may not be some Hal 'nipple action' in Series 5...according to AD director Michael Gallivan..unless his tweet was not related to filming at all...

I can imagine that twitter imploded with that revelation for a little while.

The Being Human fandom is extremely special. I've been in a few fandoms in my time but i have to admit, this one has been the best. It is certainly the most welcoming and the friendliest. There isn't any real argument and mostly we seem to be on the same page. No other fandom has made me laugh as much as the Being Human fandom plus Being Human is the only fandom where i've been fortunate in meeting two actors from the show. In fact Damien commented on how welcoming and how people have come together because of the fandom because of BH (mainly because back in late February a large group of Being Human fans met from the UK, US and Europe in London)

Yes I have to agree although have not had the good fortune to meet everyone in real life (yet!) and it is testament to how he fans are appreciated that the group who went down to Cardiff including Su and Becca are only going to be IN IT!

They must be about to begin the 4th week of filming! about a quarter of the way through now.. is it a 12 week shoot? action

I am still slightly awestruck that the storylines have even been written for series 5!
