Really wish they'd left this one in!!! If you think about it, it's an important scene for the 2 of them and in the whole of series 5 there is only 2 other times when they talk about their r'ship? It shows there bond with each other and Alex as more vulnerable and both of them and feelings !!!

Well said Ciara, I agree that the final cut of Being Human left much to be imagined in the Halex relationship, the time they spend alone together is minimal. Both this deleted scene and the one with the two of them and Crumb and Alan seem vital to the dynamics.
When Hal said before being released from the chair that if he drank blood again they should kill him, it perhaps didn't fully register how literal he was being, or being taken. These two scenes confirm that he was. And as you say...feelings!
