Yay group pics! Especially the one of everyone and Toby! I couldn't see why everyone was killing themselves til I saw Su's lounging on the floor! Hilarious! And that was after a good 15 minutes of him chatting to us all about the BH.

Damien was so lovely to everyone - he seemed properly interested in what we were saying even though I suspect we were just boring him to death talking to him about the Hal Homage!

The photos are us wishing Damien good luck for his Ripper Street debut that evening and said that everyone is really excited about it. I asked him if he could tell us what he was doing next and he said he couldn't, but as soon as he could he promised he would let us know. The red bag is photos that Trevor took in March at the Royal Court. Brookesey gave them to him.

The photos where he's looking at Kat's phone are after we asked him if he had got our Homage To Hal book. He said he hadn't and when & where did Domino send it. That lovely photo of him looking puzzled/worried was after we'd told him that it had been sent by courier to his agency over a month ago. Kat told him all about the book & competition and showed him the photos that Domino had put up on the forum. He liked the way we were hiding our faces. He said something about "good hiding" but Su will tell you more about that, as I didn't hear what he was saying. I was just "relieved" that he had not seen the book, hence why he has not tweeted about it, but also, like him, worried about why he has not got it. Anyway, he said he'd speak to his Agency.
He was happy to pose for photos and thanked us for coming and we all waved bye when he left.

I'm just totally, joyfully consumed by the magic in these photos Laura, not just the Molony effect ... but the genuine good and happy vibe coming from you all! Thank you so much for sharing them and to all the participants!

So glad a good sized group of you managed to go and had this opportunity..it feels very right that Being Human should have it's turn on this genre catwalk....and feels a beautiful way of both honouring the Being Human we have loved and enjoyed over the years, but also celebrating it's own immortality! (sorry to go all deep on y'all...)

Thank you for asking about our Homage To Hal book - it is both a concern and a relief Damien has not received it yet, as you say this explains why he hasn't mentioned it but also...why has he not had it? I guess it is a large package, 12 x 12 inches and more! fingers crossed he will get it soon

I don't know all of you by sight yet, but you all look like you have a lovely time and I'm just tickled that you got to chat with Damien and get pics with him and Toby. So cool! I'm especially smiling over the laying on the floor and that SG-1 jacket. ;)

I'm also both happy and concerned that he didn't get the homage yet, but mostly happy. Things like this often take time. Agencies aren't the best at forwarding things in a timely manner - and understandably so. They get a lot of stuff to deal with!

I think the photo I loved most was Damien talking to Brookesey. There is such genuine warmth in his eyes, you can tell that he knew he was among friends.

I was trying to say "If you don't let us dream we won't let you sleep" and kept getting it wrong, which is why Damien started laughing and said "it's the show that nobody can remember the name of!"

What a fabulous night it was! Such a great atmosphere - I think Damien was quite pleased to see us there, especially as he knew most of us from before, so felt quite okay with us, hopefully. He thanked us for coming, like he always does, bless him.

And Toby was awesome!! I know this forum is all about the Damo, but Lord Toby Whithouse - you totally ROCK!!! What a lovely, friendly, chatty man who was genuinely interested in the bloggers and what we get up to!!

Yay!! and so lovely to meet up with everyone again! we are all total BH and Damo Field Trip addicts!!

I was so chuffed that Toby stopped and chatted for so long with everyone. I know I'm not the hugest BH fan in the world, but Brookesey and the others are and I thought it was brilliant how he engaged with everyone, asking all our Twitter names (how did that happen? So weird, lol!) and then just chatting for ages about stuff - and the group photo is immense! The whole thing - Toby and Damien - was just so lovely, even though we were all so worried about lurking in the foyer area like we did! So glad we did it though!

And Trevor's photos are amazing, brilliant that he's shared them all with us.

Trevor told me there are even more pics to come!
