Whimsy - I assumed it was one of those corrugated plasticy cardboard signs (wonder if anyone knows what I'm talking about?) which weigh practically nothing....maybe I was doing him a disservice!

Love this behind the scenes photo shared by Damien on his twitter page today. The cameras are almost like characters in Suspects...I know the camera is important in all TV shows (!!) but you know what I mean when I say, the cameras in Suspects are special to creating the whole vibe of the show.

And it is the rooftop! Wonder what scene they were filming up there today?!

fifi, I thought about the cardboard, but the holes for hanging made me think it's sheet metal sign.  Mikey said its the same sign for Broadchurch filming, I'll ask him...

The cast and crew are just amazing, sharing all these goodies with us fans. hopefully it works both ways, the more excitement for the show, the better!

I bet they do have a laugh, when they get time! but it also sounds like super intense filming, must eb hard to switch in and out of role.... so the banter between them all is probably a crossover with their characters!

All these pictures have certainly ramped up my excitement.  And I think all these well known guest actors tweeting about their roles is going to have a positive impact on the show overall, catching the eye of people who might have otherwise dismissed it as just another crime show...

Just want to share this little tidbit:

SO, they had some press on set (Morgan writes for Digital Spy) and they are currently filming 7 episodes! 

This next bit is pure speculation:

I'm tentatively excited by his "soon", though still confounded about what they are going to do with the episodes.  6 each series aligns with most UK schedules, but the fact that they filmed 10 to begin with, then said 5 in Autumn, plus a couple more...  I want those couple more!  Plus a nice long S3!  

I put out a question about the DVD, but Morgan did not reply.  At least interest in the media for Suspects is ramping up as well.  It was disappointing when they stopped covering it after Ep 1.

Saw Morgan's tweet, lucky thing visiting the set.

My feeling is most of the episodes being filmed currently will be in series 3, but truly hoping some of the new castings we have heard about appear in the second series..... super exciting about Emmett Scanlan's casting, seeing him and Damo in a scene together is going to be thud

Mentioned it a while back, but series 1 aired directly after celebrity Big Brother, (channels 5's big show). The regular Big Brother is airing right now, so perhaps Suspects Series 2 will follow that?

So do you think we can take this as being official that they're filming an additional 7 eps?  (I'm pretty sure that's not been mentioned before?).  Kinda sounds about right for the filming period.  If so then it does seem likely that s2 and 3 will have 6 eps each (which makes me wonder why they didn't show 6 eps in s1, and film just one more for s2!)  It's such a shame filming will be over so soon - I've thoroughly enjoyed being kept so well informed....!

So....any ideas when BB will finish?!

BB tends to run for about 2 months, so early August? and Channel 5 announced Autumn for Series 2, technically September, so around that time makes perfect sense!

‘SUSPECTS’ EXCLUSIVE: DAMIEN MOLONY AND EMMETT SCANLAN SET PHOTO AND FIRST GLIMPSE OF FILMING FOOTAGE

An exclusive photo of Damien with Emmett Scanlan on the set of Suspects was kindly shared with the forum yesterday, by series producer Kara Manley.

We also have a first glimpse of filming footage, from the episode they will be appearing in together. Here, Damien (DS Jack Weston) and Clare-Hope Ashitey (DC Charlie Steele) question a Suspect in the interview room.

Look closely for a first look at the character Scanlan will be playing.

Emmett, who is best known for playing Hollyoaks bad boy Brendan Brady, but most recently appearing in In The Flesh alongside Luke Newberry (also guest starring in Suspects), is the latest actor to be announced as joining an already impressive supporting cast for the two upcoming series of the show.

We are very much looking forward to seeing these two talented actors together on our TV Screens!

Did we see any interviews in Series 1 with the two of them conducting any interviews (in an interview room)?!?!?!

I have just had a virtual tour of the Suspects set, with the lovely Kara Manley!

no spoilers, but the set is amazing, huge, and everything is exactly as you see it in the show! (except for the behind the scenes bits!)

Tomorrow is the final day of filming. action

Jack's desk may well have featured on this tour Jozie!! Mr Molony's face may have appeared at one point too!

Yes, I feel very privileged that Kara managed to squeeze this in when the schedule is just ultra busy.. on the penultimate day of filming.
so much work goes into the final product we see on the screen and so many people not just the faces we end up seeing.
The location is also shared with Luther filming (not at the same time) but that was an interesting fact!

It must've been a fantastic experience, domino.....and I expect the set tour was pretty good too!! Lol!  Really happy for you that you got to 'meet' Damien!!  Was there any sign of any biscuits?!

Domino, SO happy for you.  This was a lovely thing Kara did.  I know meeting Damien was rushed, but it did happen, which was always a wish but not a sure thing.  So, yay!!!!

And now anytime I see this emoticon I will forever think of Damo with the big mustache...
