It looks like the RTE press release was incorrect, or they have changed Damien's character's name....

According to his Spotlight page credits, it is DANNY DEMPSEY not Danny Quinn!

Very excited for the new drama, another quality project Damien is involved in, this quote from producer James Flynn (Octagon Films) adds fuel to the flames:

"... delighted to be working with two BAFTA-nominated/winning directors, Gillies McKinnon and Damien O’Donnell. Both of these directors highlight the cross-over phenomenon of the last ten years between cinema and high-end television drama and we firmly believe that these three independent, talented voices will give ‘Clean Break’ a powerful and imaginative narrative as well as a fresh and distinctive perspective."

It's very quiet on this new TV drama at the moment, there have been various articles with other cast members and their other work with a mention of Clean Break.

There is no offical release date info yet, but in this interview, Kelly Thornton mentions:  "I’m going to be in Clean Break, an RTE drama at the end of the year"

The year is going to irganise itself beautifully, Damien is somewhat occupied at the moment in The Hard Problem, so when the new projects come out in the second half of the year he will be available for lots of lovely interviews!

A quick check on RTE showed that they have On Demand streaming on their website.  As the time gets closer we'll investigate further and (hopefully) have information on how fans outside of Ireland can watch.

Excellent. Meanwhile, I'll be sending psychic messages to the good people who live along the coast to have their home cinema systems facing the right way and I'll be routing around shops for the ear trumpet. Perhaps surveillance equipment would be better.

On Demand works too.
