According to a recent article in the Telegraph, watching crime dramas is good for your brain!

Suspects has establised itself as a brilliantly written crime drama, with twisty turny, suspenseful plots that keep you gripped and on the edge of your seat and an innovative, intelligent whodunnit format that sometimes keep you guessing until the very end.

It's good to know that watching our fave actor is good for us!

A fascinating read, check out the full article below.

My all time fave Hal line (just love the way he says it)

"We've been played! My God! We've been played!"

"Annie's getting hysterical downstairs and I'm not enjoying it"

"kill me. Kill me now. You can tell Annie that I attacked you or something"

"“Were you guys talking about me? I heard ‘clearly gorgeous’”

"Yes because otherwise you are quite the catch"

Interesting article indeed domino! My brains get all twisted while watching Suspects but if that's good for it then more Suspects please (this only proves we need more seasons).biggrin

Such a good way of putting it Jozie, my brains get all twisted too!

I'm still enjoying re watches of series 3 - the plots are so textured it takes a few watches to fully get your head around everything going on.

Suspects has to be up there as the most brain exercising crime drama surely?

It has a brilliant formula of fully immersive flow, adrenalising pace, plausability and diversion for multiple suspects... you're left so breathless and there is no time for your brain to check out!

How did everyone do with guessing the prime suspect in each ep of series 3?

Episode 1 I kind of guessed straight away, but think that was mostly to do with that spoilery clip we saw ages ago of Emmett S's character saying "I'd press that panic button now if I were you".

Episode 2 was much trickier and I was guessing until the end - the storyline had a creeping grimness that pulled you into a deeper space and the darkness of the victims' story... and diverted from the guessing whodunnit part

Episode 3 and 4 were similar in that there was quite a complex plot with surprise revelations - totally had no idea!
