To go back to this episode, when Jon mentions he is going to a wedding I thought he may have just been saying that, when he was actually wearing the suit, all dressed up and smelling nice, to look good for Marcella.
Still loving Gameface! And i think I'm prefering it to Crashing too....I agree that the characters in Crashing were too difficult to like and, tho I thought it was funny, it took most of the series for me to really start to care what happened to the them.
Jon is such a sweetheart! I really don't want to think that there's going to be some dark secret - although i do suspect there's going to be some revelation. The thought hadn't occured to me that he might be married. But surely - even in a comedy - nobody would give a driving lesson dressed in their wedding suit on the morning of their own wedding? Although I wasn't convinced that he was really going to a wedding at all.... Definitely think he's hiding something!
Can't believe we're already half way through the series....it's all going to be over far to quickly
I may have just binged the first three episodes and fallen in love all over again with one of Damien's characters. I've managed to catch a few things since the Being Human days (back when I originally joined up), but this is by far my favourite since then. It even got me to log in and comment!
I love the depth of many of the scenes, but also the sheer silliness and brilliant humour. Truly laugh-out-loud stuff. I love that Jon always seems to say little things that could be taken out of context and sound a bit risqué or something and how he quietly tried to correct them. Subtle but brilliant.
I can't wait for the next episode, but I also don't want it all to be over in just a couple of weeks. More! More! :)
