Molonians! Damien returns to UK TV screens 1 week today in The Split!

Just look at him! What a photo! So excited for this project and character!

Putting this photo of Tyler in a suit on an office environment together with previous clues shared by Damien (the pen prop), and with the synopsis for episode 1, can we now firmly say that Tyler is deffo going to be part of the newly merged Noble Hale Defoe law firm?

OR, does "lining up in court" alongside Donna Air (who we know will be a high profile client in series 2) and Ben Bailey Smith's characters mean he will be a client?  I am going for the former! Ooooohhhh! CAN'T WAIT!

Oh my flippin eck! I am even more excited now!!!!

Thank you for sharing Rosie! TV Choice mag was the only one I didn't buy, as it is the only one that isn't available digitally. The Split gets good coverage in current editions of  the Radio Times, TV Times, TV & Satellite, What's On TV, but with nothing on Damien / Tyler. This is the most detail we've seen yet!

Only 4 days until The Split! cool

Official BBC interviews with the cast have just been released, sadly there is not one with Damien. While fully appreciating he is joining an existing cast, and most of the publicity is rightly focussed on the sisters, promo around him and his new character has been disappointingly non existent so far! But, in Annabel Scholey's interview, she is asked about his character Tyler and her response gives more insight into his role. I'm excited to see the chemistry she describes!

(Spoilers!)

"At the beginning of the series, we are introduced to a new character called Tyler who has joined NHD, his arrival comes at a time when Nina is clearly under pressure, what effect does this have on her?

Well, she can't stand him. She's transitioning from being at Defoe's, to merging with Noble and Hale, and he comes in as a sort of head-of-the-merger kind of guy. He's watching everybody and looking to see how productive everybody is and how they're using their time and quite quickly, obviously, sees that Nina is late nearly every day and hungover nearly every day. So, he's just on her, he pops up everywhere!

He's always in her way and there's a real chemistry right from the beginning, but it's not a good chemistry, it's a ‘I hate you’ kind of chemistry, which is amazing to play. That was really fun. So, she hates Tyler because he just will not let her get away with anything. Basically, Tyler can see her. He sees through all her fronts that she puts on."

Soo excited for this! Watched s1 (amazingly as I seem to see so little TV these days) and loved it.  Is it very weird that I'm pleased Damo isn't playing the nice guy? cool

You're not alone fifi, "playing nice and nasty" in a "deliciously devlisih role" has me already! It's going to be magnetic viewing!

I would deffo recommend watching the first series Sana, it is an incredible drama, I watched it when it aired and have just binged it on the BBC iplayer ahead of series 2!
