Bergerac is coming to U & Drama next month, we have no air date yet, but will premiere in Jersey!

The Jersey Post reports:

"Brian Constantine, the series’ executive producer, explained that the focus was now on the première, due to take place in early 2025, which will see a “red-carpet event” and drinks reception attended by cast members.

It is being organised by Westward Studios with support from corporate sponsors.

Mr Constantine said: “We are thrilled that plans are now in motion for the Jersey première of Bergerac. The Island is as much of a star as DCI Jim Bergerac himself and we can’t wait to celebrate that with Islanders early in the new year.”

Organisers are seeking to recreate the excitement of previous red-carpet events held in the Island, such as the Superman première in 2013.

It is also hoped that local charities will be able to benefit from the donation of tickets for raffles and auctions.

Mr Constantine added: “The cast thoroughly enjoyed their time here, especially Damien Molony, who is eager to return to Jersey for the event."
