It's hard to get really good gifs of Suspects due to the nature of the camera work. I'd like to make more Suspects gifs but I have a hard time finding gifable moments where the camera is working with me instead of against me.

the camerawork is pretty nifty in Suspects Jane, capturing that in itself is a good thing! maybe that could be all part of making the gif cooler? like the birds eye shots in the interview rooms, then switching to in the room itself.. or something...A series of interview room ones would be fab actually and Jack at his desk, pen twirling, scenes on the rooftop...

I just need to learn how to make GIFs myself don't I... but honestly on top of the sites I would struggle to find the time and concentration.
There are so many magic Hal gifs out there and so few Suspects ones (yet) , many of them made by you already Jane!
It's an awful lot of fun and addictive but it does take time and concentration. Wouldn't want you to get too distracted from the forum work, Domino. However, if it's something you want to do it doesn't take that long to learn.

domino, I'm on a Hal kick at the moment, but potential Jack ones flit at the back of my mind from time to time. I agree with Jane though, quality of the camera footage matters, as images get compressed when you upload them. and for 3D, only very specific moments will work.

wonderful GIFs Jane! you always seem to pick some of my favourite moments - as these are, from the 2 latest Suspects episodes - Jack on the rooftop clearly angsty about the case due to his family background. thank you for making and sharing them!
I am not sure if Jack is regular smoker, as Charlie has bee portrayed, or just reaches for the ciggies when he is stressed. In series 1, Charlie wouldn't give him a cigarette at first when he asked, "you don't smoke". Let's just hope they don't bring back smoking ads because if Damo was in one it would be a very good ad. he makes smoking look cool. (I am also thinking of Flight in Ripper Street - when he arrives at H Division, and when he stands in that doorway opposite the Black Rose and tells Evelyn his name is Bertrand. Very James Dean!
That middle one - something about that look strikes me. Seen the episode twice and each time I saw that scene, that look he gave both of them seems so loaded with meaning.
