I would go as far as saying he is a perfect man! But then again .. Nobody is perfect. Hes come so far and he is still growing and walking up that acting stair way And his fans shall forever be behind him giving support And one day. I will meet my Hero. I was simply blown away with the scene in the backstreet pawn shop! As soon as I saw that, I knew Damien was bound to go places! He is such a lovely lovely guy, so humble and down to earth! An inspiration for me -And others too- He was my final push to convince me to go into acting school. Since then, it's something I want to do more than anything. I will follow him in all his work and bound to be blown away! Since his performance in Being Human, people have said to me how much more confident I have become and if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have met other wonderful actors and fans!
If it wasn't for him, I don't know what I'd be doing today.

What I love most about Damien is his complete adaptability. I mean, look at him: he's Irish but he has a flawless English accent, he always does the perfect amount of anger, wildness, love or humour and you could cast him as almost anything and he would perfect it. He's made even the BH fans who were wary about a new vamp fall in love with him and he's made a community form on and off the Internet. He's so lovely in real life and he'll always be one of my favourite actors. Also he has a very nice face :)

Love Hal he's such a likeable charater sometimes funny but also sometimes dark. Thats what makes a good vamp ;) And there's nothing ''sparkly'' about him !!

I never would have believed that anyone could replace Mitchell in Being Human and viewed the character of Hal with some trepidation initially.

However, Mr Molony, you had me at the "Not a man of God" speech, and I never looked back.

Thank you for just being you, and for every little act of kindness that you have shown us, your fans. And there have been many of them.

I fell in love with Hal when he had that conversation with Tom outside HH. The "Have we finished flirting yet?" conversation. From then on I fell more and more in love with him and with the help of the Blog I discovered Damien too. I had never done the whole meet an actor thing before Travelling Light and I was so surprised by how nice Damien was. He seemed so surprised that I knew who he was and genuinely touched that I had gone to see TL just for him. He is an amazing actor, a truly nice man and I can't believe how lucky we have all been that he auditioned for Being Human :)

Damien is just one brilliant actor. Although I've not had the pleasure of meeting him (yet) I hear that he is charming and very lovely. We never thought that a we'd get a vampire as good as Michelle but our Mr Molony has certainly proved us wrong.
I wish him all the luck in the world and long may he reign!

I was so blown away by Hal that I decided to find out a bit about Damien. (Which was quite stange for someone who usually says "you know, the bloke with the hair in that thing with the woman!) It was great to discover that he is not only such a brilliant actor, but also appears to be a really lovely bloke....and I'm hooked!

I thought he was going to be great at the vampire in the Trinity from the very first scene.   I looked at the Spotlight page (link on here somewhere) and saw that he was a multi-talented and clever young man.   If feel it in my bones that he is going to be a major star - but don't take too long, Damien, as I'm not getting any younger!

Okay so.....thamk you Damien for being a fantastic replacement for Aiden Turner!!!! I was so heart broken when he left, but you mended my broken heart!!!!!

You were simply amazing in Being Human!!! I can honestly say that you made that show for me!!!

I didn't think anybody could replace Mitchell in Being Human then along came Damien Molony. The talent he shows in the character of Hal is brilliant. Being able to switch between 2 different personalities is what makes his portrayal of Hal so good. I have watched him in the short film the Hurly Burlys too. I hope to meet him one day and I am looking forward to finding out what he will be doing next. biggrin

Your research and consideration for your character is an art of it's own really. It's common for an actor to be the face to a characters name; but you made Hal seem less like a character and more like an actual person. Your acting is beautiful and your accents are brilliant, my jaw almost hit the floor when I heard you speak in an interview. All along I thought you were English! 

 

You put effort into what you do and most of all, you enjoy it. It's obvious and it really gives your work a unique shine that has me wanting to see you achieve great heights. Now that Being Human is over, I hope this won't be the last I see of you on my television screen. You're a brilliant actor and from what I've heard and seen; a wonderful man. All the best to you and future projects.

Not just because they're lovely, but the way Damien uses them as an actor. I spend a lot of time when I'm watching him in anything just sighing "his eyes..."
