Cassie is the lucky niece of Being Human director Philip and has kindly allowed us to share her photo at the forum. She was on location today at Tredegar House in Cardiff. watching them film a scene and then being an extra!
If you are reading this, thank you Cassie for this incredible Hal moment! and......... suit *thud*!
Quick someone, resus needed over here for HalGal and rubyrosettared! I wonder if Cassie knows what she has done to us all...just trying to imagine how she must be feeling!
@HalGal steady on your feet now! lol! understandable... it was a definite *gasp* moment for me too!
@rubyrosettared you certainly did!! I know..the addition of the cravat is somehow too intoxicating to bear! Filming is not even half way through yet and it is becoming clear..........we are all going to be positively giddy with excitement through these next months until the show airs next year!!
Its only taken 3 months for the penny to drop! I visited this house....probably about 2 weeks after this pic was taken....and I didn't even realise! Thinking I'll have to go back and find this spot now - if only I'd known when I was there.

You visited Tredegar House fifi? wowza! coincidence or what! you must have just missed the filming! I have never been but as 'one of the wonders of Wales' and from the pictures it looks like a stunning and evocative location.

Just the one? I would say the museum, but I am cheating slightly as it's near 2 other Hal locations that I would have to walk by in order to reach the museum. It's also the most interesting as there's lots to do inside.
I would like to go to Tredegar House or HH as I've not been to either, but if you don't drive then they are difficult to get to.

Tredegar House was great. The 17th century dining room is completely circled by these fantastic carved wooden faces....they're all different. If I can find a photo I'll (try to) post it. The guy who lived there in the 50's was a proper eccentric. Let his wallaby in the house, had a pet bear... that sort of thing.
I would love to go to the cafe on the corner with all of it's warp and woof. I'm a bit gutted that they've left.....loved all of the Hal and Tom banter which happened there.
I'd like to see the pink house in person. I can just smile and giggle and point at it. It's where it all began ... Pity Hal's never been there. For Hal, the pub from the fifties. Hal will be in the fifties suit.

On Tumbler someone who visited the cafe said that the owner refused to let BH film there again. Last year the cafe was closed for weeks and they lost too much money.

So many 'moments' for Hal in Being Human, I'd want to be in all the places where all those moments took place! Just outside HH where Tom almost staked him! The Pawn shop! The Café on the Corner ! In the driving seat of that beautiful vintage Mercedes! The armchair or sofa. His bedroom. Standing by his bookcase ! I would so love to see his bookcase! THE chair. If I have to choose I think I would go for his book case, or anywhere where he and his dominoes were.
Agree with everyone about the cafe, absolute nuggets of pure Hal (and Tom) gold took place there. But they are recorded for us to so so fondly watch over and over again for ever..and if there is anything i have learned with BH, it is to utterly trust the vision of the creators, and to keep going forward..new places new experiences, it is all grist to the creative mill, and new environments / situations for Hal to be tested by. Can Not. Wait.
For anyone interested, there is a very entertaining dicsussion going on in this topic about what Hal's next job might be!
