Thinking back on what i can remember ! I got there about 12 and although there were crew about, there was no sign of Damien, Michael or Kate. It was a while before anyone appeared and i thought they were avoiding me lol (i get paranoid i'm not wanted there) !
Anyway i really can't remember who appeared first but i got my ritual Socha hug lol Then all of a sudden there was this creepy guy hanging about !! Hehe it was Phil Davies, he gives me the heebies ! Even when he was leaving and dressed in normal clothes he gave me the heebies !
Got talking to Damien at one point, he came to me, would never go and bother him or the others. Anyway what we were talking about i couldn't tell you lol but then we got joined by an SA who started talking about what they were doing inside (think she forgot i was there ) then realised she was saying stuff she shouldn't in front of me !! She then said sorry to Damien and Damien said Kath's kool and i think he sort of winked ( i may have imagined it though) was caught at the ''Kath's Kool'' part lol
Michael didn't do much that day but stay outside talking to everyone including me :D Also he was skipping lol and is quite good at it but did get frustrated that he couldn't keep going long enough. He did disappear inside to read his book at one stage and also came outside in his socks lol
They brought in Kate at 4pm and bless her she came right over and said hello before going to be made up and get changed :D She's so lovely. They had to re-shoot a scene from last week, thats why she was there.
They wrapped at 7pm that night and all of them made the effort to say goodbye.
Su picked me up at 9am and off we went. I warned her that Damien had told me he wouldn't be there today but i think she felt bad about letting me down by saying she was coming then wouldn't if D man wasn't there lol I saw her twitter post about her sleeping in her car and couldn't let her do that so she stayed at mine.
Only Michael was on set and Phil Davies was there in the morning only. Also another guest artist was there in the afternoon, not sure he's been announced so no names sorry.
I evenutally got my Socha ritual hug after complaining to him from a distance lol (Su may fill you in as to why, i've had anough of bitching for one day from a completely diferent fandom lol so not going there ;) )
Funny fan incident - earlier a lady had stopped and asked what was going on (local rumors were rife lol) - Then we were talking to Michael who was sat on the wall with us when this van pulled up and two women jumped out. The one said to Michael about him being the sexiest warewolf on TV (hopefully Su will remember exactly what she said) as she approached, he laughed and so did Su and i. Both ladies had pics with Michael. Was great and funny to see two fans excited about meeting him. They squeeeeee'd lol
They wrapped early at 5 so Su and i went to Barry Island and had chips :D We were going to go to the Bay but after i mentioned we might run into Socha decided against it lol You know stalking and all that
Su and i got there early today as we didn't think they would be there as long as they were ! It was a bit nippy this morning too ! Crew there mulling around, Su saw Damien as we got there but i didn't, hehe think he scuttled inside when he saw us ;) Saw Michael but no sign of Kate who we thought wasn't there. Then all of a sudden she came out the door to make a cuppa and went back inside :D
One of the ladies we met yesterday turned up and stayed with us and the other one brought us tea, coffee and biscuits :D Poor Rachael (tea lady) was over excited about seeing Damien for real and wouldn't stay for fear of making a fool of herself >.<
Again i'll make no comment about hostility from certain people but an ''event'' left a bad taste so to speak. Poor Su was livid :(
After lunch turned out better. Re-phone call lol. Michael came over and asked who's was the motorbike, it was Emma's, and he got on it, put the helmet on and started it up. Meanwhile poor Polly the runner was having kittens that he would ride off and was trying to coax him off it. He'd been told off earlier for riding a push bike around lol, he's such a naughty boy.
Poor Su was fretting she wouldn't get to say goodbye to Damien as she had to leave before they finished. Also Emma wanted to ask Damien if he would sign one of Rachael's mugs for her 40th birthday. Phil came over so Su asked him where D man was explaining she had to go and wanted to say bye. So off he went looking for him.
In the meantime Damien had come out and was wandering around but not near us, most of the crew were also outside at this point so was dificult. Anyway Phil came over to say he couldn't find him at which we laughed and said he's over there but didn't want to yell at him, so Phil went and had a word and he came over. He willingly signed the mug although i think he was afraid of dropping it, while having a conversation about his signiture with Su lol Then Emma told him we'd had a bet he wouldn't get on her motorbike like Michael did and he wouldn't but did have a good look at it. Su got her photo taken with Damien as did Emma and i, bless him he went and got a coat to cover his costume (spoliers) first though. Su left and Emma went off to get her car meaning they both missed the only outside scene they filmed all week ! It wasn't a big scene but it was outside lol
Wow! What a wonderful bunch of days! Like I always say, I just love hearing about y'all's experiences on set and such! Things seem so chill with TV over there! If I went to watch something filmed here, they'd probably arrest me or something lol! (they're do uptight!)

Believe me some of the 'other' filming for shows i've seen they are uptight lol
Being Human is the most relaxed, i'm suprised they get any work done ! But then they produce amazing episodes so having fun works :D

Wonderful to read your very own BH filming diary Kath, what a wonderful read! the parts about Su and you hanging out make me smile, BH has brought so many new friends together! I feel so happy to have spoke to Su on the phone albeit briefly while you were there and feel a little bit part of that .... I felt like I had known Su for years!
Lol, bet you never felt so blessed to live in that part of the world, it is amazing that you can visit so often and we are so lucky to hear about it! It does seem like the whole cast and crew are sprinkled with like this magic dust everyone is just so bloody awesome..and that translates into the final product. BH is special from beginning to end!
Really happy to hear Su got to say goodbye to Damien, and that he signed Emma's mug, ever generous with his siggy as always. Loved the part about covering his costume and thank you for sharing in a spoiler free way!!
I left at 7am from mine and went straight to Kath’s. We headed over to location and arrived at 9am. Like kath said i knew Damien wasn’t going to be there but i said i would meet her and was excited to see the other cast and crew anyway! Im a being human fan as well as a Damien fan J
We saw Phil Davies very briefly, he just walked past us and gave a quick glance. He was leaving and didn’t stop to speak to us which of course we would never expect. He is a little bit creepy even at a distance! Lol.
Michael is very relaxed with Kath. Everytime he came out for a fag (which happens a lot by the way) he came over and sat with us. He was very relaxed when it was just me and Kath there and he was really chatty bless him.
He gave us hugs and pics and the local fans were hilarious! The 2 women that came pulled up at just the right minute! He was sat on the wall with us chatting and the one said “oh my god, your the sexiest werewolf ive ever seen, except maybe robson green” and Michael said “Oh yeh robsons fit en he!” pmsl!
That was it for Friday really all filming was indoors so we didn’t see anything J
Saturday
I knew Damien would be there Saturday as Michael had told us the day before, so i wanted to get there early to make sure we didn’t miss him! We got there are 8:30 and i saw him stood having pics with a couple of guys at the location as we drove past. Once we had parked and walked over he had gone inside.
We cornered Ryan (3rd AD) for a picture as soon as we saw him! I had a to do list from becca and that was on there! Lol! The morning was quiet really, not a lot happened but we just sat patiently and chatted to the crew when we could. Then just as all the main cast came outside for something, they waved at us and Damien saw us, some others turned up and called him over. He had a quick 2 min chat with them and then they got on with what they were doing. They all went straight back in after. Lunch was called so i quickly asked Ryan if Damien would be out later as one of the local ladies wanted his signature. He said yeh so we left them to have lunch as im sure they wouldn’t want us to watch them eat! When we walked back domino called me and as we were chatting Damien was pacing a wall. He pretended to point a gun and shoot at us! Lol! He was on a call too and then when he got off the phone he looked to us as if welcoming us over. I just thought id see if he would chat on the phone and of course im sure you know by now he did! Ill post what i can remember of the phone convo on dominos topic J

Kate was there too and came over for a little chat before her last scene and then when she left she said a quick goodbye. I was panicking towards the end of the day that i wouldn’t get to see Damien before i left! As Kath said Phil went on the hunt for us after asking if he’d been over yet! By the way thanks so much to Phil he was very kind for doing that!
Damien came over and had a chat with the local fan first (sorry im crap with names) they talked about her friend and she got him to sign her cup. I asked him while i had the chance what did his signature actually say? He said it says Damien. M. I told him we were confused as his M’s look like F’s. He said “yeh it doesn’t say dafief” pmsl! I said it looked maybe like it said damo and he said “oh yeh! That would probably be better wouldn’t it!” haha bless him.
The local fan told him his accent was very sexy and that he should do audio books to which he said in a VERY sexy deep voice “Chapter one, page 3” then started giggling *thud*
We had a pic and i got a little hug out of him and then he asked if we would be coming again? We said yeh probably lol and he said ok then lovely to see you all and see you again soon Su and Kath J

Su great account, you slotted in one of the most important things i missed without giving it away !! Can i add it was great to hang with Su, make some new friends and hope to meet more forum people in the future :D

Well said by the way, I think it is true for us all that we are all mega Being Human fans and love all the cast and crew, I guess the forum focus being Damien gives a skewed view on that..and my apologies right now if it ever came across we didn't love 'em all. we do! Oh and on that point, Laura and I were talking, if anyone wanted to begin a general BH topic in 'The Cafe' area , fro jsut general non Damien related BH stuff, please go ahead! It is all so very awesome, but what stands out the most is the gun thing!!! how cool and shweeeet is that! there is an undeniable friendliness there and it is lovely to hear about.
and oh my word i cannot believe my timing then....I had thought that was it for the day and you weren't going to see Damien again. (Will say more about the phonecall part of the day in my other topic)
So the siggy mystery has been solved! well done for having your wits about you Su!
Oh and the part about the audio book......................... what can i say... i was on the heady receiving end of that voice yesterday and well. it was like someone removed all the oxygen from the room!
It just sounds like they have such fun filming and enjoy the fans too, and you made even more special memories Su... maybe you could begin a book..'The Damo Diaries'!

Su, my to do list was not a serious one although I'm glad that both you and Ryan took it serious enough for a photo. Your new twitter avvie is fab! Is this how you got me into the conversation you had with Ryan? Did you tell him I'd given you a list?
Knowing what else I'd told you to do kind of makes me happy you had limited time with Mr M! lol!
Each story we hear about the cast & crew just adds to my opinion that they are all lovely lovely people & I for one can't wait to go back to Cardiff! It is now a must Su, you told Damien you would.

I know, it's tragic , and have been unable to come to the last 2 get-togethers, but I've been "told" I have to use up some holiday in October, so I'm hoping 3rd time lucky.
