"The real find is Damien Molony as Hal, who carried off flashback scenes as a charmer toff from 1918 with laddish élan – shame there weren’t more of those – but was equally at home with the rather more mundane demands on a vampire’s time in 2013. Such as housework. Hal is a touch OCD but Being Human doesn’t labour the point – it’s just part of his character, it doesn’t define it."
