Whatever our personal interpretations of that moment HalGal, it was totally a powerful emotional moment! and one that I wished for Hal to arrive at...in a way that had never before been explored in BH vampirism!
This was the single happiest moment of Being Human for me too.
The questioning look on Hal's face when Alex is bleeding and Tom says he can't feel the wolf.
His slow approach to the bar.
His needing a moment - you can see the conflict in his posture, is he wishing it true? afriad it's not? afraid it is?
And then the lovely way he looks up to the mirror touching his face, sadness, wonder, hope.
This is the one thing I always wanted for him. Makes me

Agree with Halgal though, 517 years passing and still looking the same must be bizarre! In fact, this may be the first time Hal looked into and saw his reflection in a silver backed mirror..although the human race has always found ways of seeing reflections, this may be the clearest he has ever seen himself. double meaning intended.
