Due to the size of the fan base, sherlock is probably going to win the tv detective award...but which would you all choose between Matthew Macfadyens' Inspector Reid or Jerome Flynn's Sergeant Drake in Ripper Street? its a tough call!
Daytime tv has a catagory of it's own....so it's a mixture of genres. I agree UJ - it's an odd thing to do.
Must admit...I did vote for Sherlock. I just think it's the best thing on tv at the moment (it was, obviously, second to Being Human.....) but I compromised myself by voting for Ripper St in the drama catagory - and I'm not in love with either Drake or Reid, so I voted Sherlock for tv detective. Agree though...that if I'd gone for one of them it'd probably be Drake.....
