Lol! Damien does look as if he s dressed in brown in that topic pic Halgal, but if you look at the next two, were he is sitting down, you can see he is in navy! It must be the lighting because the other performers look the same.
It really is a treat to be able to listen to these performances, thank you to the Southbank Centre
It is wonderful to be able to listen to these.....my Damien Molony audio file is slowly growing. Would love to be able to hear a recording from Monday....but that doesn't seem very likely.
And he's properly dressed in Damo blue! Very lovely. But this man just doesn't take a bad picture.

Thanks for this, domino. It is a lovely picture....and, sorry Kat - but I've got to agree with whimsy here "...this man just doesn't take a bad picture."!
All of the Wordtheatre photos are stunning and gorgeous quality, they go a long way to making up for missing out on Damiens' performances.
Poor Kat.. it is going to feel like we are ganging up on you! You mean his facial expressions at the WordTheatre performance at The Arts Club? I LOVE those, they are wonderful frozen moments of Damien's expressivity as an actor and give them more of a visceral feel.
Still hoping Forward Prizes will post the video footage as they have done for the readings of the winning poems on the night.
I love his expressiveness. They can be funny but I don't find them unflattering.
Kat I do admit I'm not keen on some of the photos from events, you know the "red carpet" type photos where he can look a little spooked? But to me that's due to lighting, use of flash (flash flatters no one) and circumstances, not him.
