Woah! I just realized something. I think he is wearing the same suit in this scene as when he comes to the house in 4.2.

Glo, we actually had a bit of a debate about that suit after the DVD's came out.  It almost looked like Rook's suit, and some of us *ahem* may have done a thorough investigation... it turned out not to be Rook's suit but most assuredly is the suit he wears on his date with Alex in S4 E7. So the bar stool maneuvre and emotional latitude are both done in that suit. #suitthud

sorry for the mega delay in replying! So happy you all enjoyed the 2013 advent calendar, it was very fun to do and almost wish we could have it all year round! (perhaps when Damien is mega famous and there are new pics every day we could have a pic of the day topic!
