It was bleak and in keeping with the rest of the show, how pretty much everyone was implicated and the sister was brain damaged.

I guess police stations don't see many happy endings.  The nature of the business. The show if very gritty and true to life.

This episode was a delightful surprise for me, it was a change of pace and introduced humour, a banter / competitiveness between Jack and Charlie, a team dynamic and a sense of how long the team had worked together. As well as greater insight into the characters and their approaches... most compellingly Jack and his interviewing techniques!

The humor sprinkled throughout was a nice change.

Thank you for coming to the Jack Chat Jane and Whimsy and any other members who may be reading but not joining in! we were a small group, but no less fun or insightful.

I am not sure if the next Jack chat will be next Sunday or the week after, but hope you all can join in next time. grouphug

Well, I've got to go deal with my laundry and take a walk before all of the light fades.  It was a good chat.  I wish more people had been able to join us.  It was a bit light on attendance for some reason.

Thanks as always, Domino.

And not that I'm really counting but I think this comment takes me back to Damiac status?

That humor and the relationship between the detectives is what stepped up the show for me.  I'm not a police show type of person.  I was originally worried at the show's premise of concentrating on the case without any character development, but I think they've done an excellent job of inserting enough details through their performances.

It was fun.  Definitely always gain insights.  Lots of different spring break schedules going on, so that might be a factor on the turnout.

Sorry I didn't join in much tonight, I couldn't think properly for some reason. But it was great reading all your insights of the episode. Hope I can join in more next week.

Sweet Jack dreams everyone!
