‘JACK IS BACK’! FILMING ABOUT TO BEGIN ON ‘SUSPECTS’ SERIES 2 June 7, 2014 Filming is about to begin on the next series of Suspects and our favourite TV Detective will soon be back! The cameras are set to roll on Monday for the whole of June, with DS Jack Weston (Damien Molony), DI Martha Bellamy (Fay Ripley) and DC Charlie Steele (Clare-Hope Ashitey) returning to our TV screens for Series 2 in the Autumn and Series 3 in 2015. Damien Announced the imminent onset of filming on his Twitter Page last week, with a behind the scenes sneak peek of Jack’s desk. We are delighted to note the return of Jack’s magic crime solving pen and look forward to more action from the detectives at their London HQ… And excitedly anticipate more gripping drama and questioning of suspects in the interview rooms that have become synonymous with the show… And cannot wait for more rare moments of character in rooftop scenes… All brought to life with dialolgue improvised by the actors, through the fly-on-the-wall filming techniques, both of which give Suspects it’s uniquely gritty and realistic ‘dramentary’ feel. Series 1 aired in February – March this year and comprised five of ten episodes already filmed, the remaining episodes with additional filming will air in the future series. Woop Woop!!!! Damien's teasing #JackWalk and #JackIsBack Tweets were quite a welcome treat! I did wonder, based on the fact that his tweeting continued throughout the week & he clearly had off time to watch movies & attend concert, if they hadn't started filming. Now confirmation of that suspicion. Good to know it's happening. Wish I lived nearer. I would totally setstalk! biggrin

It is an exciting / intriguing pic too... blue light from a blue siren maybe? an outdoor location definitely! Jack, Martha and Charlie back on the scene arresting the baddies Totally hoping for more of these! I know it's very demanding of me....but I really wish we knew how many eps they're filming! (and so how long they'll be filming for). I'm assuming they're going to film eps for s2 and 3? But we have no idea how many that is! __________________ ".....he'll be with you while you dream"

‘SUSPECTS’ CASTING NEWS: LUKE NEWBERRY JOINS DAMIEN MOLONY FOR FILMING

Jack Weston’s Next Suspect?

Damien has just finished the first week of Suspects filming, alongside Fay Ripley and Clare-Hope Ashitey.

Yesterday Twitter was buzzing when news broke that the three leads will be joined in the next series by guest star Luke Newberry (In The Flesh), Dominic Power (Emmerdale, The Bill) and Claire Cooper (Hollyoaks)

Damien, who played over 500 year old vamp Hal in Being Human and Luke, who played zombie in In The Flesh, are pictured below sharing a break during filming, in another awesome photo from series producer Kara Manley.

The question is, will the zombie be having an interview with the vampire in the next series? And are we to see Jack Weston’s hallmark interrogation style unleashed on this particular suspect? We cannot wait to find out!
