Is the Tiger Raid page on Story Film's website a new thing?  http://storyfilm.com/tigerraid/ (sorry, still, don't know how to create a link on my tablet!)

It's new to me anyway....and makes this film feel a little closer. 

TWO MERCENARIES BOUND TOGETHER BY A JOB, HOUNDED BY DEMONS FROM THEIR PASTS, AND UNABLE TO FACE THE TRUTH OF WHO THEY ARE.

I'm sure i've not heard that before either...... I've gone all coolbounce again!

I love the fact that Damien's credit is for Kill Your Friends......

I noticed that too, both the summary and Damien's credit. I wonder if that means Kill Your Friends is getting the right kind of attention in certain circles.

Every new tidbit of info adds to my excitement! Now I have theories about the relationship between the two men, the demons from their pasts, and those things in themselves they don't want to see. The list of ideas just keeps growing! I think I have a list forming!

Can't wait to watch the film! I hope my theories will be blown away by characters and plot so unique and original I would never have thought of it.

It's not a new page fifi, it has been up there for a long while, but they have tweaked the page and added Sofia's photo.

There were a few questions on Twitter to the forum account the other day about the date of the Summer premiere which has been announced on the page for a long time, which I directed to Story Film. The page was changed the day after..

Now it says: "POST PRODUCTION HAS JUST BEEN COMPLETED, AND THE FESTIVAL PREMIERE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON."

Oh. That's disappointing cry

The stuff on their home page has been there for so long.... I thought the addition of a dedicated Tiger Raid page might signal the start of some proper promotion. Still - tweaking is good.....I suppose...

The 'Tiger Raid' page has been there a while fifi, but new stuff has just been added, suggesting action coming soon!

You are right about the slight tweak on the synopsis, very exciting!

Two mercenaries ride a wave of pitch-black camaraderie as they travel through the desert night on their way to carry out a kidnapping in Iraq. As the raid progresses, their frenzied world turns in on itself as past misdeeds come to the surface, violently threatening to tear them apart.

has been changed to:

TWO MERCENARIES BOUND TOGETHER BY A JOB, HOUNDED BY DEMONS FROM THEIR PASTS, AND UNABLE TO FACE THE TRUTH OF WHO THEY ARE.

 

This is the first time I have wondered if we will be getting flashbacks to "their pasts" if if they are just alluded to?

Oh....now there's a thought. I hadn't anticipated flashbacks, but they are always quite welcome. It's usually good to see a character in a different situation from the one we find them in....

Anyone else wondering how 'soon' the "soon" in this sentence is? (edited into the film's offical page on Story Film website mid Aug)

: "POST PRODUCTION HAS JUST BEEN COMPLETED, AND THE FESTIVAL PREMIERE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON."

and is anyone else constantly checking all the film festival programmes and announcements? It's not TIFF, LFF, Telluride, or AFM (so far!) Cannot wait to find out!

I assumed "soon" would be within two or three months, in film talk.  

However, "summer" meant summer to me, and they are running out of time to technically stick to that! wink

The "summer" part has been removed, so I am sincerely hoping not next summer!
Crossing fingers for an 'imminent; announcement then!

Looking at Bankside Film's website (distributors) the only remaining Film festivals of 2015 they are presenting at are TIFF and AFM (the American FIlm Market). I cannot see Tiger Raid listed at either.. I was originally thinking the premiere would be at the London Screenings in June, but they may have been a little early. Telluride has just finished too.

however there are lots of other film festivals happening between now and end of 2015 - including lots of Indie ones. Raindance Film Festival 23rd September – 4th October in London for example!
