oh to be sure domino. Jack's still gnawing at his bone. He's just not being as vocal about it.
Yes, Martha's little talk in the car the night before probably helped clear his head a bit. He was so involved, I don't think he saw how his behaviour was affecting Charlie.

For Jack it is totally looking like his view of Saul as the culprit is justified
and maybe that's another reason he's calmed down about it. he feels a bit of vindication, in the eyes of the rest of the team.

I said it last chat, as soon as Jack mentioned the red knickers and Saul obviously hadn't known that's what they were, I'd ruled out Saul. But as everyone has said, it really would have been disappointing if it turned out to be him. It was too obvious a choice.

Jack is usually so canny with his gut instinct... we don't know at this point of course but his concern for Sadie, advising her to get indoors, protecting her from Saul, couldn't be further from the truth!
Also... anyone else notice how Martha responds to Jack ? she doesn't say anything just looks at him in a way that shows she is concerned with his obsession with Saul....
Did anyone else notice in scene 12 how Jack (Damien) is desperate to say something? (you can see it in the screencap) I would love to see what they don't show from these scenes.....
on first viewing I was a bit miffed that the case took on a different direction. I'd gotten so invested in the characters on part 1... but that's how real life works, they have to follow the leads...

Despite the Saul obsession, Jack is still doing good detectiving... he found the crack pipe in the kitchen, but is he open to the idea of other suspects?
yes fifi, he kept trying to interject! But I guess in light of what Charlie was saying, he decided it wasn't relevant anymore?
