The full horror of Sadie is revealed....

the scene where they find out about the axe was utterly chilling, and that feeling deepened when Jack and Charlie received the call that she had been spotted near North Park Cemetery

I was really hoping they would get to Sadie before she hurt Saul. Obviously.

My heart was racing here. I couldn't bear it if anything terrible had happened to Saul. I felt Jack felt real concern for Saul, not just trying to catch Sadie

me too Rosie, genuine concern and care... and perhaps that thread of guilt too...

I felt like he was trying to save Saul in a way that he could not save his brother.

Also, I mean, dang, the poor guy is mentally ill and basically homeless...do we really need to add ax-murdered to the list?

I'm giving some thought to why Sadie went after Saul.

I'm glad Jack and Charlie made up in their own way at the end.

I guess to keep him quiet TJ.  I'm surprised she didn't follow her MO though.  So I guess it was more a crime of passion (not in a sexual sense)?

Charlie is very smart. She doesn't just study the criminals and the crimes, she studies the people she works with. She understands Jack and generally knows how to handle him. I like what the last scene shows about her character.

I wonder if she suspected that he'd said something to the police to turn them in her direction. As for the MO, that was something she did just to put the police off Nate. I thinks opportunity is her MO.

Sorry guys - got distracted!
Why did Sadie go after Saul? Because she's psychotic?!
And yeah....Charlie is smart! I love that Jack went to see Saul..and that Charlie guessed that's where he was...

Sadie knew she was already on the police radar...and must have known they already had enough evidence against her.. so getting Saul out of the way would make no difference. She was completely out of control and Jack even suggested psychosis... so maybe there was not a reason other than anger at Saul
