With huge thanks for allowing us to share these wonderful photos of Damien, Gina Bellman and the other performers at Heart Strings: Bittersweet Love Stories, St James theatre 30 September.

Lovely pics - very evocative of a really enjoyable evening. I love that these were tweeted to the forum.....and you really can't argue with that sentiment, can you.......
So lovely pics, and super nice they let you share these cause I missed the tweets. Hah the first pic of Damien with his fist in the air, talking about right moments to take a pic
Absolutely lovely! As usual just by the photos you can tell Damien infuses his readings with as much energy and passion as he does with all his roles. Must have been enthralling to watch and hear.
Yes, wonderful that Word Theatre tweeted the forum. Domino you work tirelessly to promote these events and all of Damien's work in such a professional way. I know you prefer not to talk about it, but I know it can be tough physically because of your illness and emotionally because the fact that you can't attend. It is all very much appreciated, not just by his fans!
Jozie, they got some great shots. That intense look in the second one... I adore the last one where everyone is clapping for him. Such a humble pose. One of the reasons I admire him is that he's so down to earth. He always seems uncomfortable with praise, but the praise is always well merited.
fifi, even Damo himself wouldn't disagree with the sentiment ... "Good looking bastard"

fifi, it was so lovely of WordTheatre to tweet the pics directly at the forum, and give us permission to share. (their online peeps are lovely to chat to as well).
Jozie, agree with you about the pics, so much more visceral than portrait shots, better for those of us who were not able to attend to have brilliant and evocative photos like these!
whimsy, aw.. you are too kind (it helps me to keep busy, keep sane )
p.s. There may be a further treat to come.. watch this space!
