LOL! Damien is so much more than just eye candy in Suspects though. For me he outshines everyone with his clever, emotional and witty improvisation.

Interesting that Channel 5 is advertising Suspects as part of their police week with the theme of the blurring of fact and fiction.

I guess having reached s4 this programme has become fairly established (although the series have been rather short!) but it feels like Suspects has built up some proper momentum now.....it's being noticed in a very positive way.   I like!

And it's back on this week - after so much waiting only 3 days more to go!! smile

Damien is def more than eye candy as Jack Weston (or anyone else for that matter) but it doesn't hurt that he also is...
Yes, I like that Ch 5 are highlighting the realism element of Suspects that way.. wondered why it has taken so long! Especially as they do have other police shows.. and doing so does emphasise Suspects's USP. It truly is a groundbraeking drama.. not just of the police procedural genre. It does sit comfortably outside of both the realm of the reality factual programme and the 'usual' fictional drama.

Thanks for pointing that out fifi, the press for the new series does confirm it as an established show now, yet at the same time positively commenting on the format as fresh and refreshing...
