Holy f$$k!!! 

I don't think I can properly express the emotions of seeing that picture.  The intensity of his gaze through the black paint has my stomach in knots and flips.

And 86 minute run time.  I have a feeling this is going to be an intense ride. Not sure I can cope.

Got to confess, I might have hyperventilated when I found the pic whimsy!

All the emotions right now! It's DaMo! in a FILLLLMMMMM! I feel.. a proud fan (is that wrong?!) and oooohhh... look at the makeup! it's going to be intense and powerful..
Keeping everything crossed this film gets widest distribution possible. Damien bias aside, just from the synopsis, it sizzles.

This appears to be the new official synopsis for the film, also on the Tiger Raid IMDb page (which I am pleased to see has been re-instated - and I've re added Damien, Brian and Sofia to the cast list)

"Two mercenaries ride a wave of pitch-black camaraderie as they travel through the desert night on their way to carry out a kidnapping in Iraq. As the raid progresses, their frenzied world turns in on itself as past misdeeds come to the surface, violently threatening to tear them apart."

Interesting to see there is no mention of black comedy in the offical synopsis.

Also: "delivery date early 2015" - we've seen both early and late  2015 release mentioned, fingers corssed the former, though the film is still in post production editing and it's already Feb!

Yay!   Wait so you added the cast? How did you know Sophia's character name, was that announced before?   I must have missed something.

It's classified as a drama. That synopsis certainly sounds dramatic. From what I gathered from the podcast the other day, the film changed quite a bit from the play, but writer and actor both mentioned the importance of humor.  I'm sure that's part of it.

Still can't look at that photo without going to pieces.  So FREAKIN EXCITED for Damien in a film!!! I completely feel the same way, proud and overjoyed for him.  Is that wrong? We've supported him since his first known role, and continue to cheer him on with each consecutive leap.  I think it's natural to be fan proud.

Originally I added the film, but if you remember it was removed. Yesterday I noticed the film had been added but without the actors in the cast list, so today I added them but only Damien's character name, so someone must have added Sofia's!

for me it's been Three years (wow it's been that long!) since first seeing Damien's talent when he arrived on BH and just knowing he had a special gift that deserved to be on the big screen one day. It does make me emotional and proud but I've always been a conflicted fangirl when it comes to expressing that, if that makes sense at all.

This picture is still giving me a cross between an ultra adrenalin rush and a teary brimming over with pride heartgasm!

Ok, so looking more closely, I'm seeing the darkened raccoon like eyes, the scarves that could be pulled up over their mouths to protect against the dessert sands and to disguise... and I'm thinking BANDITS!!!! bandit

Getting the shallow out of the way... Damo is rocking the rolled up sleeves & fingerless gloves like it's nobody's business.  thud  (a bit of Mitchell feels and someone on Twitter said reminiscent of Duran Duran Wild Boys video, which I totally agree!)

 

Those pics are amazing!  As you say domino, very atmospheric.  Stark contrasts, I would even go so far as to say bleak.  And I can feel the heat just by looking at them.  (desert temperature, obviously)

Duran Duran, haha! Totally have Wild Boys stuck in my head now. I always wondered if being a child during the New Romantics era would affect my view of what men I found attractive and now it see that it did!!

Yes, these new images really convey the rugged, scorched landscape...
A stunning backdrop for any film, but from what we know of Tiger Raid so far, will add to the tone and flavour of this movie.
