By chance I'm at hotel with wifi & caught this tweet.  Hiding in the bathroom so can't watch with sound. Lol.  Is he the one going up the steps?  Is he the desperate man?  Oh Danny boy, what mischief are you going to get up to?!

Yeah....funny coincidence!

Whimsy - judging by the joggers and hoodie I'd guess that's Damien on the steps.... 

There's a fuller trailer here......you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find it.  There's no more Damo in it, mind..... (sorry if you've already posted it elsewhere, domino.  And, sorry! I can't remenber how to make the link live on my tablet!)

Another coincidence was seeing Brian Gleeson's name in same press stuff, for the other new RTÉ One drama 'Rebellion'

Thanks for posting the longer trailer fifi, I saw it but hadn't posted (perhaps sulking as it was longer, but no extra Damo!)

I recognize Damo saying "something like this, someone could get hurt."  And judging by the trailer, I think I can make out some of the plot.

Thanks for all the links.  I'm bummed he's not in the trailer more, besides those words and going up the steps.  But hopefully this is just the beginning of press and we'll see more before long.

I couldn't help noticing the coincidences too! Is tiger raid a thing in Ireland?

So we have tiger raids and probable bad guys. Dark dramas, men with questionable morals, and plans gone wrong. I'm totally on board with ALL OF THAT!

Whimsy I thought that was Damien too but not totally sure because of all the gorgeous Irish accents going on!

Yes TJ, tiger raids / kidnappings are historically connected with Ireland, wikipedia can give a better explanation than I!

There was a news item about the launch yesterday (no DaMo) but I think it was Amybeth McNulty (such a lovely young woman!) who said the drama tells the story from the different points of view of each character, so maybe there will be a 'Danny' focussed part? :smle:

That scene with the fists is quite comedic.  Has me grinning ear to ear.  And that wink is making me feel feelings... *fans self*

Hmmm, I'm starting to get ideas about the story.  They filmed at a boxing ring in Dublin, remember?  Wonder if Danny is supposed to be a boxing hopeful, he's being promoted by Frank, and gets embroiled in this tiger kidnapping plot...

Oh Rosie, I'd totally forgotten about that tweet!  So, boxer Danny?!?  That has topless potential! (yes I had to go there)  But please, don't hurt the pretty face... no 

I couldn't even remember when filming happened.  His first sneaky clue was Nov 4th, wrapped up Dec 6 (same day of the makeup).  So we get Clean Break less than a year from filming.  Woop woop!  I'll be counting down the days... biggrin

In the kissing on the stairway photo, looks like he's got cerise trainers on.  Damo must have worn the cerise socks to the rte launch in Danny solidarity. wink

Loving so much about this trailer.  The waistcoat! The wink! Boxer Danny? - looks like a definite possibility! And the previous 'relationship speculation seems quite likely too....  I'm way too excited about this.....especially as I don't even have a pc to watch it on at the moment.
