The second Kill Your Friends official trailer has been released by Studio Canal today and it is as hilarious and unapologetic as the first.
It comes ahead of the UK and Ireland theatrical release on 6 November includes and new footage of as yet unseen characters.
There are also new glimpses of Damien’s character Ross – we count four in total, see if you can spot them in the trailer below.
Damien appears in the new sneak peek alongside a line-up of top UK talent including Nic Hoult, James Corden, Georgia King, Craig Roberts, Joseph Mawle, Jim Piddock, Ed Skrein, Edward Hogg and Ella Smith.
The new trailer gives a greater sense of the dark comedy’s flavour, and how the film (described as “this generation’s American Psycho”) satirises the music industry in the late 90s. And worthy of note, out of the male characters we have seen in both trailers so far, Ross has the most genuine Britpop hairstyle of them all, lending an authenticity to the era in which the movie is set. Surely an award nomination waiting to happen!
Kill Your Friends is directed by Owen Harris, produced by Gregor Cameron (UNIGRAM), Will Clarke (Altitude Film Entertainment) and Len Blavatnik (AI Film and Warner Music Group) and will be released in the UK and Ireland 6 November 2015 by STUDIOCANAL.
Did anyone else spot Damo the 4 times ? Or is it more and I've missed some?
Jozie, there is lots of news on Kill Your Friends internationally. but not in your country yet. Have you tried contacting your local cinemas or big national cinema chains to find out?
Oh yes! That would be amazing fifi, I am sure it will happen soon with the UK release approaching!
