TIGER RAID: “stunning performances”, “haunting imagery”, “immersive sound”

– New Tribeca info and 3 screening dates!

The newly released Tribeca Film Guide reveals more film details and 3 screening dates for Tiger Raid.

Tribeca Film Guide

Tiger Raid’s entry in the New York festival’s film guide gives us our greatest insight yet into the “disturbing action-thriller” and its “complex and troubled characters” – particularly the tone and atmosphere of the world they inhabit.

The film’s official selection for the ‘midnight’ strand of the festival, “dedicated to no-holds-barred horror, action, and thrillers” further confirms its dark nature.

We’re also given a first preview to the “stunning performances” of Damien (Paddy), Brian Gleeson (Joe) and Sofia Boutella (Shadha), to director Simon Dixon’s “haunting imagery” and to composer Dean Valentine’s “immersive sound design.”

Tiger Raid | Tribeca Film Guide

While on a covert mission, two cold blooded mercenaries form an unlikely bond as they race across the desert in the dead of night. When their violent and desperate world implodes, past atrocities come to the surface threatening to tear each of them apart.

Brian Gleeson (Show White and the Huntsman), Damien Molony (Kill Your Friends), and Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond) offer stunning performances as the inhabitants of director Simon Dixon’s dark and arid, seemingly unpopulated desertscape. Dixon surrounds these complex and troubled characters in haunting imagery and immersive sound design. As the true nature of their mission becomes clear, betrayals accumulate; no one emerges innocent in this disturbing action-thriller.
