I can't go because of the money situation and to be honest, I've been underwhelmed pretty much every time I go to the theatre! :-p It is great news for Damo though. It'll certainly do his Cv no harm!

Ooooh, that means rehearsals will be going underway, if they haven't already started. Hoping for some cheeky bts pics on Twitter. If not from Damo, then from Sir Stewart or Mr. McKellen. They can be a couple of goofballs on social media!

I still can't get over that Damien is going to be on stage with the greats ( Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart ) I mean that's pretty darn impressive! Go on DaMo, the man's career can only keep going up for sure! I feel overwhelmingly proud...

I was miffed that they didn't mention Damien or, for that matter, Owen Teale!
Me, too - especially as I missed Emmerdale just to watch! It seemed there were only two actors in the play. I would have thought they ought to give the other two a mention - it's not like it's a huge cast!
That's just the shame of two very popular and loved people. Anyone else will be behind the lines. It's almost upsetting not to hear Damien mentioned more, or even Damien get an interview. Don't get me wrong I adore Ian and sir Pat but... I'd respect to hear more about the OTHER cast members too.
(Edited to add this.)
And how tweets haven't mentioned DaMo and so far no rehearsal photos either. Shame...Real shame.

I ended up missing the broadcast. I get messed up with the whole time zone thing... It's a real shame the rest of the cast didn't even get a mention. That seems very inconsiderate, especially coming from such esteemed and likable actors. The press really are treating it like a 2 man play. Well hopefully as it gets reviews the word will get out about Damien's brilliance.

In relation to what Whimsy said,
It's very likely because sir Pat and Ian are such big names that many "important" and famous people will at some point go and see the play. Chances are this will include talent scouts amongst over people.
Would be amazing for Damien to receive more recognition and develop even further with his career. Will be interesting to see how people comment on the play and if any big names mention Damien's performance.
I'm so looking forward to seeing the play on Saturday afternoon, i can't believe it's come by so quickly!
I'm hoping there will be some press regarding the play in our local papers this week, i shall keep my eyes peeled. It will almost most definitely will be reviewed, i'm hoping tonight, to be in tomorrow's editions of The Chronicle and The Journal. Fingers crossed.
That centre picture, of Damien in the suit is very Hal like don't you think? (And my dad had a suit very similar to that when i was a kid)
