Great news, we seem to have waited forever for this! Although it would have been nice to see Damien's name alongside that of Fay Ripley rather than James Murray.

Just to remind our US forumers that Series 3 and 4 are already available on DVD via Acorn TV / Amazon.com in the US (region 1), with series 5 released 7 March. (ahead of the UK and the Amazon listing has Damien's name!).. info here
Sounds like the perfect way to spend Paddy's day Ellie!
Damien's name is not mentioned at the top but he at least is in the product details along with Clare-Hope and Lenora.. only poor Perry gets left out :/
We've waited forever to add series 3 to our DVD collections Rosie, this boxset of all three series and 4 discs is a delightful surprise!
Cannot wait to see the cover art... wonder if it will be like the US ones?
Under a month until this dvd box set is released! Time for a forum countdown?
Fifi, much as extras on a Suspects DVD would be AMAZING, it seems unlikely (Do hope I'm wrong!). Series 4 and 5 are only four eps, series 5 has six so maybe that is split between 2 discs? Perhaps the series 5 lineup is on the cover to represent the up to dateness / newness of the dvd and that it include S5 - maybe the other series will appear on the back cover! Not that I have given these things much thought.. at all..
The series 5 dvd has already landed in America and I'm reading that it has a 'photo gallery' included.. can any of our American friends confirm? thanks!
I've just finished watching series 3, and it made me realise how gritty and realistic Suspects is, surely in the forefront of crime drama. I have missed it!
Oddly enough, I also realised I much preferred the format of series 1-4. Don't get me wrong, I loved series 5, it was strong, emotional - but I did find myself picking out flaws and I have always been too enthralled by the other series to do that; I also missed the 'fly on the wall' feeling, it was much more of a standard crime drama and I didn't get the edge-of-my-seat, totally involved feeling.
I was a bit miffed that James Murray's role was given as second featuring star on the back cover and before Damien on the cast list; he was only in it for the one series. He must have a really good publicist.
All in all, I am content - I now have the whole of Suspects on dvd and can watch whenever I want. Nice to get a refund from Amazon as the price has gone down, too. Just wish the dvd was also available to download and in blu-ray, but I suppose you can't have everything.
I'm hoping that there is a series 6 and that Damien is in it; also that it returns to the old format.
Glad you are enjoying your Suspects re-watch Ellie!
I enjoyed the development of the format in series 5, perhaps because it was Jack-centric. But I am on record several times as saying that I wouldn't want the show to lose it's USP, because that it what makes it special, stand out and groundbreaking as well as brilliant drama.
I know exactly where you are coming from with the ordering of names, but feel more surprised by the lack of mention or photos of the other brilliant cast members across series 3, 4, and 5. Emmett Scanlan and Luke Newberry to name but two!
Of course there will be a series 6, it is Channel 5's very own gem! How can there not be! and definitely with you - #WeWantJackBack #BringJackBack
Yeah....I'm surprised - and tbh quite disappointed - to see that the s5 cast are on the back cover as well as the front. Poor Martha - how soon they forget!! She wasn't my favourite character, but it seems very unfair considering she was in all of s3 and 4....and a main plot point in s5!
