Well, now I finally have time to write something. I'm just in Bristol and today we want to do a little Being Human sightseeing.
Wow, what a finale. I am alternated between laughter, being ashamed and being amazed. I like the open end. That means many opportunities for more series, yay.
OMG...And Jon's singing was the hit. I really did not expect that. However, I have to say, if that had been my date ... I do not know if I would have liked that. Nevertheless, Jon has really made an effort. He really likes her.
And the flashbacks take turns with Jon's face. That was so funny, but I really do not know how to forget that.
The father I think is absolutely fantastic, I had to laugh the most .. came shortly after the peeing Jon-Alpaca.
However, this last episode also leaves many questions with me ..is Billy going to rehab? / who pays the psychiatrist? / does Simon divorce? / why does Jon wear a suit again for the driving test? / how many driving lessons will Marcella need? /where is the broken arm lady? / what were the body doubles for?

does Simon divorce? Well, he def shouldn't be married, and Tania would have to be a very forgiving woman to stay with him!
Why does Jon wear a suit again for the driving test? It's his rejection suit! lol! Surely Jon wasn't giving Marcella her driving test, they were just driving to the test centre?

where is the broken arm lady? probably as far away as she can get after the awkward post screening scene...
what were the body doubles for? The driving / crash scenes and maybe Marcella had a double for that roof top scene?

Is the driving instructor not in the car at the test? In Germany, it is like a normal driving lesson with your driving instructor, only that there are 2 "officials" sitting on the backseat who only look and then decide if you have passed...

In the UK you take your test at an examination centre, with a driving examiner, not your driving instructor. At least that was how it was for my driving test, which was admittedly many years ago!
It's still the same way in the UK as far as I know Domino - many people take a lesson with their instructor immediately before their test. That usually involves driving to the test centre at the end of the hour where the instuctor gets out and passes an hour or so twiddling their thumbs while the candidate takes the car out with an examiner.
So, it looks like Jon was wearing a suit to take Marcella to the test centre - aw! But really, it's his rejection suit. his look what you're missing suit.

I may also have just bought the entire series on Amazon, for the HD. Totally worth it!
My only complaint about the series.. it deserves to be seen in HD on normal TV (I know it is on Sky) and I really hope if there is a second series (please) it moves from E4 to Channel 4!
Also, I know I'm old school but would love to have this on DVD - especially if there are extras!
E4 didn't release any extras like Channel 4 did for Crashing...and they did a marvelous job of not including Damien in any of the clips uploaded on their YT channel! Channel 4 also managed to exclude him from all the official publicity photos for every episode! Colour me baffled!

Especially as he has had so many favourable comments on forums! Sometimes I think he either needs a new publicist or ultra low-key is his preference.
Yes, having the HD version on Amazon Video is great! I, too, gave in to temptation!
Definitely worth investing in the HD on Amazon Ellie.
GameFace is also now on iTunes, but not sure if it is HD, as the price is the same as the lower price SD version on Amazon. In which case, it is free on All 4!
Don't get me wrong, it's Roisin's show and she should obviously be in everything publicity. It was so good to see all the interviews as well, thoroughly enjoyed all her appearances and she did an amazing job There were photos with other minor characters though, just not Jon, and considering his role that seems a tad odd. I guess we more than make up for it though!
