What a gorgeous letter Ellie. Hopefully my card will arrive tomorrow.

Oh Ellie! What a lovely, special letter, just for you, direct from Damien.
My heart is doing flip flops reading! I bet your feeling properly moved, as I do, on your behalf, I hope your heart is filled with the warmth and joy it deserves to be.
Damien is such a generous person, that shines through the whole letter. Without him, there would be no fundraiser. And he has not only written your card - and to the other top donors - but also sent it himself. It was all him.
I love how he mentions us all at DMF and being excited to share Brassic with us! Proud fan and proud to be part of this fandom,
Happy, happy Christmas indeed! ( I bet this one stays on your mantelpiece all year round - am I right? )
Ann, I'm sure yours will arrive very soon! Damien posted them on Wednesday. Post can be a little unpredictable at this time of the year, but fingers crossed for tomorrow or Monday!

Card has just arrived. Will put a picture up later when I'm on the laptop.
Very chuffed.

Wonderful! So glad your card has arrived Ann, and what a lovely letter from Damien!
I hope this has put a big smile on your face and in your heart, which lasts through Christmas and beyond! Thank you for sharing your special prize with us all.
In terms of thanking Damien personally, you could always post to twitter and tag him in the Tweet! Or on Instagram!
Thanks for advice re. tweet. First time I've ever done that. Think it worked. Would love to show you but I have no idea how.

Did Damien write the envelope? It looks like his writing.

Ann, that's smashing, so glad your card arrived safely. I'm not on Twitter so can't tweet him, but that was a great idea!
Isn't it lovely he's taken the time to write found and not just sign the card?
I think he did write the envelopes. What I want to know is - is the stamp self-adhesive or did he have to lick the back? Do we have Damien Molony DNA? (I watch 'Big Bang Theory', I'm channelling Sheldon with the napkin Leonard Nimoy used to wipe his mouth). I know the answer, by the way, I buy the books of stamps, too, haven't had to lick one for years!
Ellie, yes the stamps are now self adhesive...but the envelope .
So Ellie, Get cloning. Let me know how it goes!

I hope more of our lucky prize winners have received their prizes by now!
International peeps may take a bit longer, but it would be great to hear from you all!
Ann and Ellie, yes Damien completely personalised, wrote the cards and envelopes and posted himself to the top 3 donors, part of what makes them special for sure!

Mind is now carefully put away till next Christmas. I would love to have it framed but it would mean cutting the card if I wanted to show both card front and words - and I don't want to do that!
