Oh Ellie! santa1woohoo What a lovely, special letter, just for you, direct from Damien.


My heart is doing flip flops reading! I bet your feeling properly moved, as I do, on your behalf, I hope your heart is filled with the warmth and joy it deserves to be.

Damien is such a generous person, that shines through the whole letter. Without him, there would be no fundraiser. And he has not only written your card - and to the other top donors - but also sent it himself. It was all him.

I love how he mentions us all at DMF and being excited to share Brassic with us! Proud fan and proud to be part of this fandom, grouphug

Ann, that's smashing, so glad your card arrived safely. I'm not on Twitter so can't tweet him, but that was a great idea!
Isn't it lovely he's taken the time to write found and not just sign the card?
I think he did write the envelopes. What I want to know is - is the stamp self-adhesive or did he have to lick the back? Do we have Damien Molony DNA? (I watch 'Big Bang Theory', I'm channelling Sheldon with the napkin Leonard Nimoy used to wipe his mouth). I know the answer, by the way, I buy the books of stamps, too, haven't had to lick one for years!

Mind is now carefully put away till next Christmas. I would love to have it framed but it would mean cutting the card if I wanted to show both card front and words - and I don't want to do that!
