Keep Breathingis an award-winning, crowdfunded UK short film which aims to “explore the nuances around Sexual Consent and encourage a much-needed discussion” in light of the #MeToo movement.
It premiered 18 September 2019 at the Underwire Festival, London UK and was officially selected for the BFI London Film Festival 2019.
The film was released worldwide online due the pandemic via Vimeo, 31 March 2021.
Damien appears in the two-hander film alongside Emmeline Hartley (also co-writer and producer). He won the award for Best Actor at the 2020 Midlands Movie Awards.

Trapped in a lift, a man and woman are forced to confront each other about the night they first met.
Synopsis
A woman faces her worst nightmare when she finds herself trapped in a lift with a man, who, without her consent, pressured her into having sex with him a few weeks before. But he remembers that night very differently, and is shocked to discover what she thinks happened.
It’s the first time they’ve seen each other since and an emotional argument ensues. Will he take responsibility for his actions? Will she be able to use this encounter to finally move on?
