Me too Sana, but I think he may break in the end.. I hope so anyway...for the sake of Joncella!
He doesn't know about the driving test though.. so if he gets past the Simon thing, there will be that one to deal with too. Although I was wondering if he might find out anyway as he is a driving intructor, who knows the examiners...
Yes! I can't help but agree with her agent "I have no doubt you are very talented"
(what makes me think there is a 'but' coming after that?)
That is THE scene I am looking forward to as well Rosie, ever since we had a glimpse of it in the trailer! Wonder if there will be singing AND dancing?
Another brilliant episode! I mean who doesn't love a romantic flash mob!
As always it was a roller-coaster of emotions. So many laughs but also touching moments. Marcella's dad was so lovely when she needed someone to talk to. I was expecting him to go off on one but he was really sweet and caring.
I don't want Jon and Marcella just to be friends but perhaps Jon is right that if something was going to happen it would by now. I hope not!

That was great again. It was really funny and emotional. The phone calls from Marcella are so funny (I'm the ghost of your girlfriend Marcella ). However, I think that Jon was hoping that Marcella says that they should not just be friends, but confess their love. And I think so too. Love the Father too, as he threw everything away to listen to her. That was lovely.
Yes Sana! I agree with all you say! Jon was testing Marcella out with the 'just be friends' speech - and he looked disappointed when she kind of agreed. The miscommunication within them is adorable and makes me feel for them both. Theirs is like an old fashioned love story
The flashmob scene (and whole episode) could not have been more awesome, more romantic, more hilarious or more FABULOUS!
The perfect scene, perfect song choice and perfect performances!
So much going on in the 'be friends' scene, Jon clearly doesn't mean it, but he's hurt and not sure at all what Marcella feels.. for him, for Simon... and he tests her out. Classic Joncella miscommunication, awkward, adorable, full of chemistry and tension.. Roisin C has written this arc so beautifully!
Marcella is such a dolt! I can't believe she thought Jon wanted to just be friends. Especially after his reaction to her saying she hoped whatever that they could be friends. He's also a bit of a dolt though for apparently not understanding what she was saying.
