It's excellent news for international fans in the region 2 countries that the DVD will be available really soon after the UK premiere!

Great work ITV Studios, who are responsible for international distribution and we know very keen for audience to see Brassic worldwide. Fingers crossed for news on the rest of the world soon!

Just a reminder to UK peeps - all eps of Brassic will be available 22 august on NOW TV, with an entertainment pass. You are not locked into a subscription and there is currently a 7 day free trial on the entertainment pass, which can be cancelled any time.This means, you can sign up and view all of Brassic for free! cool

It has been given a 15 rating by the BBFC for 

'very strong language, strong violence, threat, sex, drug misuse'

It's really clever how the creators of Brassic made the sex scenes kind of adult without any real nudity!

Has anyone else received their dvd yet?

The extras are on disc 2 and it is sooo great to see one with Damien, our only behind the scenes video interview of him from Brassic! It's  an unexpected delight as it is not specified in any of the selling info or cover!

His name is spelt correctly on the dvd cover, but it the playing menus and on his interview it is not! Shocking on an official dvd! 


The other extras are short but sweet - and funny, with some bts treats!

Anyone else got their DVD yet?

Here's a transcript of Damien's interview extra, it is short and sweet like the other extras, interspersed with Brassic fotoage.

Dylan is an intriguing character, so conflicted! He does try not to get dragged into things, but always gives in! What do you all think?

I’ve really enjoyed shooting all the stuff with Michelle at Erin’s house, they’re such a tight unit, I think they’re such a wonderful family unit and if none of these pals existed it would be a lovely sweet show about a family who are, you know, trying really, really hard to make a go of it.

 

The great tragedy for Dylan is that he’s constantly being dragged back into total mischief, fun and danger and just great craic.
