I've been keeping an eye on the main film festivals. Bankside Films attend Sundance in January and EFM (Berlinale European Film Festival) in February, but Tiger Raid is not appearing in the screening programmes for either (so far!).
Next on their events calendar is Cannes in May, the London Screenings June, TIFF September and AFM November.
I guess there is a possibility it may premiere at an Irish film fest ?
Fingers crossed for news soon... it's far too quiet!
Since my last post here, Tiger Raid has been announced as selling but not screening at EFM 2016. But it is still not listed as one of Bankside's films for the event, so I suspect this is not the main event we're all waiting for.
Tiger Raid received funding from the Irish Film Board and like last year features in the Irish Film Board 2016 catalogue, albeit this year a small entry at the end and listed under 2015.
But this got me to thinking, the film may not be premiering at one of the film festivals that Bankside attends, perhaps another international film festival..
Tribeca? (April 13 - 24), Cannes? (May 11 - 22), or an Irish Film Festival?, or the Irish Film Institute?
Take a look at the festivals on the IFB website here.
It would be exciting for Tiger Raid to be shown at a major film festival! We've all been talking about it for so long, it's about time somebody got to see it!
